Tiffany Larson

Tiffany is a Napa native. She graduated from Napa High School and Napa Valley College. She has developed a passion for fitness and wellness and helping others reach their goals by conquering obstacles.

She and Jeff married in 2001 and after having children she found herself at 217 pounds and not sure how it happened or how to get back. Determined to find herself again and achieve better health she started attending boot camp 5 days per week and never looked back.

Her belief: Fitness and wellness is journey, you never actually arrive, it doesn’t happen today or in 4 weeks or a year. It happens everyday of your life.

Tiffany recently completed the Russian Kettlebell Challenge and has plans to compete in Strongwomen competitions in the future.
She understands the stress of being a wife, a mommy, an employee and a business owner and can relate to the many obstacles we all face when it comes to making self care and fitness a priority in your life. She works behind the scenes making sure each boot camper has all the information and motivation they need to succeed at discovering and reaching their goals.

 Carlos Alcantara (‘Cardiac Carlos’)

Growing up in Mexico City, his parents kept him very busy in sports. In elementary school he played baseball and when not “in” season he enjoyed swimming. Since soccer was the national pass time and his father was a very passionate fan he taught Carlos the game.

Now living in the States since 1992 with his wife Norma and two sons Christian (15 yrs) and Joshua (13 yrs), Carlos has seen many opportunities for his sons Christian and Joshua to be fit. Remembering how good exercise felt when he was a boy, he decided to sign them up on a local soccer team.

After one season Carlos signed up to be next season's coach. Half way in to the season and seeing happy faces from the kids it made him feel that helping other human beings to achieve a goal is something very special. He then started to educate himself on soccer and fitness in general. As he was getting better as a coach and seeing very positive results from his players, he got very passionate about expanding from youth training to adults.

He tells his players "the way you practice is the way you are going to play in a real game, therefore what you put in, is what you get at the end ".

In 2007 he joined Adventure Boot Camp team. He is very excited to share his passion on helping individuals from every path of life to reach their fitness goals. He is now in a time of his life where the people that he trains inspire him every day to be the best trainer/coach that he can be.

  Stacey Kortie
Stacey has lived in the beautiful Napa Valley since the age of 6.  As she grew up in California, she has practically been in the water her entire life as well.  Some of her favorite hobbies are water skiing & wakeboarding.  She began a career as a competitive swimmer when she was in 6th grade.  As she quickly advanced through the ranks, she eventually began training as an Olympic Hopeful under 4-time Olympic and World Championship Coach & 2-time American Swim Coach of the Year, Paul Bergen as well as Coach Bob Bowman (Michael Phelps' Coach)  Through this experience she earned a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with Olympians such as Summer Sanders, Allison Higson & Eric Wunderlich.  She was well on her way to the Olympics in 1996 when she injured her left rotator cuff and was no longer able to compete.

With the athlete in her still very much alive, Stacey continued on her quest for a fit and healthy lifestyle.  While trying to find the perfect exercise environment for her, she joined health clubs, ran, cycled & swam in the outdoors, but was never really able to find that perfect fit.  Then she found Adventure Boot Camp and was immediately hooked!

She joined Boot Camp in June of 2006 where she found herself among a group of like-minded people who also thrive on fitness & wellness.  Her passion for this program grew tremendously over her first 1-1/2 years.  After talking with Jeff on several occasions, Stacey decided to take her passion for the program to the next level and become a CPT & later a Kettlebell Instructor.  She began training under Jeff and eventually became the trainer of our 5:30am class in Sonoma.

In addition to teaching for the Sonoma Boot Camp Stacey and Jayme own the Adventure Boot Camp in Petaluma!

Stacey enjoys spending time with Jayme and their blended family of 5 beautiful children, Alexis 15, Dylan 12, Jada 10, Tyler 6, & Reese 5.  They enjoy spending time at the beach and getting away at their family home near Lake Tahoe, where they spend time boating & swimming in the summer & playing in the snow in the winter.

Stacey is currently studying to become a Certified Fitness Coach and will be working on her Youth Conditioning Certification later this year.

Joanna Mittman

Joanna has personally experienced the success that awaits the boot camper who puts her or his mind to achieving fitness and weight loss goals. She started attending boot camp in 2006 in the hopes of getting out of her gym membership rut. Fairly fit, but also overweight, she trained hard, lost fat, and grew strong and fit, but she still wanted to lose more weight. Although Jeff often asked about nutrition and told her to journal her food, she didn’t see the need because she was not a junk food eater, or even a sweets eater. She ate what she believed to be a pretty healthy diet (except maybe for those couple of glasses of wine after work every evening).

Finally, after buying her first pair of size 16 pants, Joanna attended a Boot Camp nutrition seminar on January 9, 2009. Jeff’s nutrition information clicked and the next day she began following the Rapid Fat Loss program and journaling her food (turns out she was a carb junkie). 35 pounds and 6 pants sizes later, she has become a Boot Camp trainer to share her enthusiasm for hard workouts with excellent technique, improved fitness and conscious nutrition choices. Boot Camp changed Joanna’s life, and she knows it can change yours too!

Aside from training at Boot Camp, Joanna is an attorney and a teacher at Napa Valley College. She has two wonderful grown children, who have always supported their boot camp addicted mother.
